Our founders
Lynette Webb
I’m obsessed with solving problems, bringing structure and clarity to complexity. Since graduating in mathematics in 1990, to today where I look for the sparks in leading-edge tech that bring real and positive change, my superpower has and always will be finding practical solutions.
I am passionate about helping others to shine. For 30 years I’ve been a thought partner to some of the most influential people and companies in global media and technology. Most recently at Google I led multiple AI policy initiatives, offering expert advice to governments and collaborating with research teams to ensure the safe and responsible use of AI. I also supported C-level executives in crafting key external speeches and curated Google’s flagship Zeitgeist conference in Europe.
In co-founding Road to Amherst I’m thrilled to return to my consultant roots, to help businesses navigate the landscape of hyper-accelerating AI in a way that unlocks genuine value.
Before co-founding Road To Amherst, Lynette worked at Google for 16 years, first as lead speechwriter for the head of Google Europe, ultimately becoming expert in AI policy and responsible AI implementation. Previously, Lynette spent 6 years advising teams on emerging digital trends at Aegis Media (now Dentsu), 2 years in business development for NewsCorp’s European arm, and 4 years consulting at McKinsey. She has an MBA from New York University, B.Sc (Hons) from University of Melbourne, and is a former Australian ice-skating champion.
Dusan Hamlin
I have a proven track record in finding ways to unlock business potential in next wave technologies. Every organisation has its own unique challenges, and my focus is on finding solutions quickly and cost effectively.
As a respected digital industry veteran, I’ve never been about self promotion or chasing industry shiny things. I prefer to dedicate myself to building foundations that make sure my team and our clients’ organisations thrive.
I’m well known within the industry for building highly effective teams, always focused on finding people obsessed with problem solving, deeply experienced in their field of expertise: people who feel as much at home implementing as they do in supporting others in planning and doing.
A driven entrepreneur, Dusan spent the last 20 years building and leading global teams of specialists in emerging technologies such as eCom, mobile, digital design and now AI to bring business advantage. He co-founded two companies from a standing start to global footprint and success - thisplace.com, now prime listed on the main board of the Tokyo stock exchange; and m&csaatchiperformance.com, a global top 10 marketing agency specialising in data optimisation for better content performance. Before this, Dusan spent nearly a decade working in digital marketing, including at Aegis Media and Isobar (now Dentsu), where he met Lynette.

David Skelton
David has worked at the intersection of politics, business and technology for over a decade. He worked extensively in the private sector in London, Singapore and Silicon Valley and with senior politicians and decision makers.
He spent 7 years at Google, most recently within the Global Strategy team, before founding Artemon Strategy, an organisation dedicated to using foresight capabilities to help businesses navigate uncertainty.
